As water,
Calm he stood
Until touched by fire
That grew wild
despite tears, of anger,
Disappointment fueled
Hope began to disappear
in ashes that remained,
approached closer
a dead end
When she couldnโt see anymore
though her eyes open remained
a son standing by her,
With his heartโs pieces a thousand
A silent roar
yet furiously loud
A helpless prayer
in tears soaked
Nothing but his mother
to be back, he begged
Down he kneeled
Awaiting her
to tell him, โMy braveheart, my child,
Donโt cry any moreโ
But she didnโt, as here was the end
She came only this far
As his parent beloved
Their journey abruptly over
Seen I had
the fire
that grew wild
Despite the still, though now uncalm water
in no time though, it too died
Everything was over,
but the bond
of them together
Of a parent and her child
Of a son and his mother
