Yet again.. I was just a bystander.. #cancerwonagain

Oh and I too just let her be?!..
No one to save her, her death witnessing we..
just like that succumbed to cancer she

“Doc.. My soul is crushed”
She voiced
Smiling feebly, voice trembled

No tears yet,
or perhaps no more she had left
Cancer was way ahead in her fight
To live.. just a bit longer
To see her grandkids grow up a little more
Her sigh.. pierced my core
As if I saw her drownin’
Deep in a calm ocean
Death fast approachin’
Couldn’t swim away, as her hands were tied
Swiftly being drawn inside
To stay afloat her best she tried
Family and friends stood close by
Oh but to rescue no one came though why?
She was told nothing more was there to try ..
What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger
As I die each every time, just being a helpless bystander

Smiling feebly, voice trembled
She voiced
“Doc… My soul is crushed”

Oh and I too just let her be?!..
No one to save her, her death witnessing we
And just like that succumbed to cancer she
