“Rest now my baby Suffer, no more Can’t see you hurting anymore”
Moaning, whimpered Sat she broken-hearted By the bedside Of her adult child.. Her hug, her voice, her touch barely there Vanquished I saw today a mother Who lost her son In despair she, forlorn She was the first to hold him when he was born And the last one still holding him when he’s gone Today succumbed to death he.. But to this life she. While now rest in peace he may She’ll die a thousand times everyday I couldn’t hold her hand, or say sorry The power of death, of this agony Or of the tears Of a mother, now childless Was beyond my words, of condolences The son’s untimely demise was somber Oh but calamitous, was the death of a mother
“Rest now my baby.. Suffer, no more.. Can’t see you hurting anymore”
