Death, or denial- what’s more painful? 😔😢💔

Absent brain stem reflexes
Lay still she, comatose 
No more meaningful recovery
Anoxic encephalopathy, irreversible brain injury
“Doctor.. Nothing happened to her
She can’t die, she’s my mother..
I’m not coming to visit her either
You hear me now, nothing happened to her!”
Futile attempts to discuss,
and explain the grave prognosis ..
“Doc, she’s my mother,
Do everything to revive her”
Indeed the mother’s death was painful,
But dire was the daughter’s denial
