Isolated one

In a couple days two dozen

Left, right, tested, tried

Some discharged, some died

Was in Wuhan, then in Italy

It’s just them, it’d spare you and me

We thought undermining

the potency of this not so little anymore thing

We’re at a battle

with a foe invisible

We need PPE

Though masked is that virus wee

As asthma, cardiac issue or diarrhea

To triage and isolate who becomes a dilemma

Presuming now perhaps we’re all exposed

If barely sick, stay home, to help make an environment better controlled

To quarantine and shutdown

Now seems the only option

So please don’t seek help from us

If only you’re too sick unless

As only intention ours

Is to treat loved one yours

But sadly vectors already we may be

More than help, may harm you ironically..

Limited resources

Supplies scarce

All countries unite with boundaries none

The world together stands against nemesis one

That we can’t see

COVID 2019-20!!

Mother Nature giving us a test

To let just those survive who’re the fittest

Reminding us how temporarily we’re here
